When I was in high school, I heard these a few times when my siblings listened to them. How clever, to have have the music of four different composers playing as the soundtrack to four wildly different stories.
Today, my sons listen to these, and I catch bits of Bach and Beethoven as I go about my day. And if they hear a snatch of music, sometimes they identify it. Not always. But sometimes.
As one with a major in humanities--studying art, music, and literature--I wish all children could have a chance to enjoy the wonder of classical music. This is a great place to begin.
